Your Bill Explained
Use the letters below to identify parts of existing bill. Informative and comprehensive, your Hicksville Water District bill is designed to give consumers a clear view of their water usage and responsibilities. Here is a simple overview for your convenience.

A. Account number, statement date, account name, billing cycle, service address to which the bill is mailed.
B. The service address is the location of the property which receives the water. Addresses A & B are often the same– but not always.
C. Billing Summary- if you are on auto pay, it will show here. This shows prior charge, payments and adjustments, balance forward, current charges (current usage for this cycle), total amount due.

- If the balance is in (…), this is reflecting a credit on your account. DO NOT PAY.
D. Shows the billing period (three months), current and previous reading, graph of usage.

F. You will find valuable information under the “notice” section. For example: Payment must be received by the due date, or a 10% penalty will be assessed, any changes within the district
