The Hicksville Water District would like to inform all residents of a recent error with water bills issued in January 2021. 5,638 residents, nearly a third of our customers, incurred an overcharge billing error. As soon as the issue was brought to our attention, we immediately began an investigation. As a result, we are in the process of notifying the residents who were incorrectly billed and each account will be credited on their next water bill.
