Hicksville Water District Superintendent Paul Granger, far left, guided SUNY Farmingdale civil engineering students on a tour of the District’s Plant 5 water treatment facility. As part of their Water and Wastewater Systems course, the tour was a valuable experience for Long Island’s future engineers, as they were able to get a firsthand look at what it takes to provide high-quality water to such a large community.
