Hicksville Water to Host State of the Water Supply Meeting

Hicksville, N.Y. (May 4, 2018)The Hicksville Water District will hold a “State of the Water Supply” public meeting on Wednesday, May 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Hicksville Community Center (28 W. Carl St, Hicksville, NY 11801). At the meeting, the Board of Commissioners Karl M. Schweitzer, Bill Schuckmann and Nicholas Brigandi will provide updates on water capacity and supply issues; infrastructure and resource management; and introduce upcoming proposed capital project infrastructure upgrades within the District to continue providing the highest quality of water possible to residents.

 “This is an opportunity for us to provide the community with updates on the current status of Hicksville’s water supply as we strive to provide the safest water at the lowest possible rates,” stated Karl Schweitzer, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners. “We look forward to opening the floor to questions from residents regarding any related issues or concerns they may have.”

The public meeting will feature a Question and Answer session with the Board of Commissioners and Superintendent Anthony Iannone. Residents are welcome to voice any questions or concerns they may have regarding their water service.
